American Band with great potentiality that, in opposite of the title, sounds a music with various influences and styles, where emerges an atmosphere that remind me old Soundgarden with guitars either Acid or Desertic. The group has a very good singer in Ed Sebastian, that always manages, according to the song, to stand out. The cd starts with the beautiful "Meat Wallet", powerful and acid that has a thick and desertic sound that hits you immediately; so as the powerful "Revelation" that alternates exiting melodic break with slashing fuzz progressions. The group is really able to create electric ballads, like "Afterbirth" that reminds the best introspective Soundgarden; where after a first melodic part explodes a fantastic acid chorus for a great song and "2nd Story" , moving as the first. There are faster and heavier songs, often with obsessive and scratching rhythmics like "Off The Kings Head" and "BellySmack".
