BORGO PASS
"Slightly Damaged"
Long live sludge rock. Borgo Pass' follow-up to its second long-player,
"Powered by Sludge," is this five-song metallurgists dream. Led by
Tom Crane's and Paul Rosado's double-guitar storm and James Tamarazzo's
thunderbolt vox, "Slightly Damaged" sounds not so slightly like the
work of guys who should be playing Ozzfest 2002 (and what do you know - you
can shoot an e-mail to Ozzministrator@aol.com and cast a vote for these
Babylon boys). "Camaro Crash Helmet" and "SteelBloodAcidGod"
stand above the sludge here, with the latter being a neck- snapping call for
the nearest chiropractor. Pass the napacin, kids.
